Background

Since Inya Economics envisions for the economic development of Myanmar, it is firmly believed that the country needs skilful and insightful economic analysts, economic writers, economic researchers and scholars.

ESP (Economics Studies Program) of Inya Economics is hiring (1-2) positions of program interns for program management and teaching assistance. 

For this belief, Inya Economics initiated the Economics Studies Program which purpose is for Continuous Economics Education to all learners of economics for the sustainable economic development of Myanmar. Though the program concentrates most of the resources on teaching or cultivation of economic talents for Myanmar Future, the program widely prospects and targets for inclusive direct and indirect education through knowledge production process. For the sake of its aims, the program closely work together with “Economic Literature in Burmese Language (ELBL)”. In this condition, the selected intern(s) will contribute in the detailed duties and responsibilities of ESP.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assisting the lecturers by arranging lecture time, conditions and office matters
• Transcription audio and video explanations into words (only economic-related and interdisciplinary economic centered issues)
• Interpreting English to Burmese Language for smooth communication between lecturers, speakers and the students
• Meeting and Guest speaker session arrangements
• Student affairs management
