Economic research lab program attempts to innovate research and emphasise the development of Myanmar economy by supporting economic researchers and stakeholders with economic researches and discussions.It is fortifying policy consideration and evidence-based research for economy to the general public, which intends to the prosperity of the development of the public and private sector.
The Program aims to emphasize studying Myanmar Economy in terms of seven states and seven regions separately and in comparison for the prospects of resource allocation, the efficiency of subnational economies, equity of opportunities, and well-being of the people in seven states and seven regions. The main product of this theme is “States and Regions Economic Report (Yearly)”. Upcoming research papers and reports on specific themes and/or on specific states (or) regions can be published occasionally. In several thematic areas, an important consideration is not decentralization but a division of powers.
